What is new at the WBF 2024?

The Online Awards will take place 2 weeks before the Live Awards, allowing us to dedicate more time to curating and
perfecting the content for the live show.
The live competitions will take place on 2 days on the 20th and 21st of September.
The Camouflage Award will already take place in advance, Thursday, September 19th in Klagenfurt.
After the end of the competition participants have 30 minutes time to clean up their working space.
The NEW Make-up category Special Award: Drag Make-up.
Registration fee per category:
o The WBF ONLINE Awards - 30 €
o The WBF LIVE Awards – 60 €
The presentation rules have changed for some of the categories. For those categories (mentioned in the timetable) it would be possible to perform a show. Please let us know what kind of performance is planned to be on the stage.
The World Award: Airbrush is now open for pre-registration. Once we reach a certain number of participants, the category will be officially confirmed to take place, otherwise we keep the Open Category only.

Explanation:

Chrome” (Creative Make-up Category) is the current buzz in makeup and fashion, while the concept of traveling is making a comeback as people are eager to explore the world again. The question is, where would your destination be, and more importantly, which year would you travel to? Would you want to alter past events or foresee the future? The possibilities are limitless! Let your imagination run wild!

Registering

The 30th of August 2024 is the closing date for both, ONLINE and LIVE registrations. It is recommended to register early as all categories have limited numbers of participants.

The 30 Euro for your ONLINE PASS insures your participation.

WBF Creative Hotspots

Artists from all around the world are working on specific days from home BUT there are also artists that prefer to work in small groups and gather at a studio, a creative space indoor or outdoor. These spots are the so-called “WBF Creative Hotspots” which we especially feature during our BIG live TV Show at the LIVE World Bodypainting Festival in Klagenfurt.
